Almerimar is situated on the Costa Almeria, 40 km west of the Moorish city, Almeria. It is a modern, purpose built coastal retreat where rainfall is scarce and boasts 13 km of wide, sandy beaches surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, golf courses and flamingo filled national parkland.
Surrounding a large, modern and well serviced marina and yacht club can be found a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants, whilst the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean are ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving. A popular venue for sailing and windsurfing, tuition is available for the novice.
